Badly Described — Daily Movie Guessing Game

Thank you so much for supporting us during the launch of Badly Described. It honestly means so much to see so many of you stop by, play, share your feedback and cheer us on.

Our hearts feel heavy sharing this but we've decided to pause development and take the site offline for now. As much as we've loved building it, it's been difficult to balance creating new content, growing the community and maintaining the project alongside our full time jobs. We quickly realized it required much more time than we anticipated... not just with creating the daily movie challenges but also learning how to market the game and build an audience from scratch.

We're incredibly grateful to every single one of you guys who gave it a chance and supported us along the way. Bringing this little idea to life has been such a fun experience and we've learned so much throughout the process. It's bittersweet stepping away and "turning the lights off" on Badly Described for now but we're keeping the door open. Maybe one day we'll come back to it with fresh ideas or a new direction.
